Change of personnel in the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Industry

Iurie Scripnic was dismissed from the post of state secretary of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Industry at a government meeting on February 11. Tatiana Nistorica was appointed as the new state secretary, Logos Press reported.

Iurie Scripnic’s mandate came into force in September 2021. Since then, he has coordinated issues related to policy in the zootechnical sector, animal welfare and health, and food safety.

Tatiana Nistorica, who was approved as MAIA state secretary at the government meeting, will be responsible for the same sector.

Tatiana Nistorica’s professional experience includes more than 23 years of work in agriculture, food industry and food safety, of which more than 15 years in public service. She has held managerial positions, including State Secretary, Head of the Department of Production Policy, Processing and Quality Regulation of Livestock Products, as well as expert in international projects financed by the European Union, FAO, UNIDO and the World Bank.

Tatiana Nistorica holds a bachelor’s degree in biotechnology and a master’s degree in political science.
