Daniel-Constantin Moraru, vice-president of the National Union of Romanian Patronates, said.
“We are very encouraged by the openness of the members of the Government of the Republic of Moldova, who invite our partners – entrepreneurs from Romania – to invest in Moldova. In this direction, as you know, the National Romanian Seaport Management Company has already taken the first step by acquiring a stake in the Giurgiulesti port. This means that many Romanian entrepreneurs will attract large and important investments in this logistics infrastructure,” Moraru said in Chisinau.
He said there is a great interest from the Romanian side to build industrial parks in Moldova, as well as specialized terminals – for liquids, grains and containers. “This will allow all producers from Moldova to have convenient access to export their goods.”
“We have always sought and continue to develop relations between Romanian companies and companies from other countries, both horizontally and vertically. Moreover, as a Romanian, we have many things in common with Moldova and we would like, based on our experience of 35 years of private entrepreneurship, to open doors and participate in all projects useful for both sides”, emphasized Daniel Moraru.
He also said that the National Union of Romanian Patrons has long had a close cooperation with the Moldovan business environment. For instance, the organization supports many Moldovan companies from Romania. As an example, he cited the Moldovan company Artinox, which is the general contractor for the construction of the largest terminal for vegetable oils in Romanian sea ports. The works are already underway and the facility will be completed by June.
