The current edition focuses on the training and development of young theater professionals through hands-on demonstrations and laboratories coordinated by world-renowned educators and directors.

Under the motto “ClassFest – a space for theater education and experimentation,” the festival will host a series of creative labs (Acting Lab) aimed at developing students’ skills. The four labs will be coordinated by: Carlo Bozo, Italian actor, playwright and director, co-director of Académie Internationale des Arts du Spectacle, France; Vargas Torres Raul, theater activist, director, teacher and researcher, Accademia Teatro Dimitri, Switzerland; Janusz Stolarski, Antract Theatre Association, actor and director of the Polish Dance Theater; Stefan Lupu, professor at UNATC “I. L. L. Caragiale”, actor, director, choreographer, director of the Small Theater in Bucharest.

The festival program will also feature mono-performances by AMTAP undergraduate and graduate students, reflecting their personal vision of humanitarian, social, political and cultural crises. And the Leon Schiller State Higher School of Film, Television and Theater from Lodz (Poland), as a special guest, will demonstrate the high professional training of future actors, based on mastering new interpretations of acting on the European stage, by presenting the play “The God of Small Things” based on the novel by Arundhati Roy, directed by Marcin Brzozowski. The novel “The God of Small Things” written in English by the Indian writer Arundhati Roy won the Booker Prize in 1997 and became a world event. This is the first time a writer has won the Booker at the age of 36 for his first novel, and it is the first Booker for an Indian citizen writer.

The festival will culminate with the performance “Ecce Homo. On Becoming Who You Are” based on Friedrich Nietzsche, staged by Janusz Stolarski in collaboration with Bogumil Gauden from Poland.
