The court found that the claims against SA Aroma as a result of the execution of payments by SA Barza Alba had been settled in full.
According to the press release of the Public Property Agency, this decision represents the first key step towards the revival of the production of distillates and spirits with more than 100 years of tradition in Moldova. The “Aroma” products, which have made us famous in the world, will continue to be sold under the same brand and line of brands. Moreover, the founder, represented by the state, decided on a new management approach to the enterprise’s operation, which is contained in the Government Decision of July 2024, when the Cabinet of Ministers supported the takeover of SA “Aroma” by SA “Barza Albă”.
In this context, the Director General of the Public Property Agency Roman Cojuhari on June 4 officially presented the new interim director of SA “Aroma” to the employees of the enterprise. He was Andrei Lutsa, who previously held the position of deputy director at SA “Barza Albă”.
“Today’s appointment will ensure a smooth transition in the process of operational and economic merger of the two public companies under a single management umbrella, but while preserving the cultural and commercial identity of each individual company,” Roman Cojuhari said.
