AIPA approves another 208.7 million lei for subventions

As the AIPA press office notes, the funds are directed to farmers in various subsidy areas.

A total of 37.15 million lei was allocated for advance payments. Most of these funds will be used for investment projects in the beekeeping sector. In particular, based on the approved applications, the purchase of about 2,220 bee families and 2,535 hives was subsidized.

As an additional form of payment, 49.42 million lei were approved for 409 applications. They were mainly directed to cover the interest rate on investment credits – 32.8 million lei. 7.76 million lei was allocated for the development of organic farming, while 7.21 million lei for the renewal of perennial plantations. In this context, it was noted that subsidies for the uprooting of 561.2 hectares of vineyards and orchards were approved in April.

The sum of 86 million lei was confirmed for the post-investment payments of AIPA. It will be used to satisfy 219 farmers’ requests. These funds allowed purchasing 50 tractors, 20 cultivators, 6 combines, 10 mowers and other agricultural equipment. For payments for kg of products in livestock breeding, 2.16 million lei will be allocated.

Also, the amount approved in April for the projects of the LEADER program amounted to 22.58 million lei. Of this, 5.24 million lei was allocated for the work of twenty local action groups (GALs). The rest of the funds are earmarked for the implementation of local development strategies. They will be used to repair and modernize 13 buildings in rural areas. As well as for two energy efficiency projects.

The amount approved for compensations for the increase in electricity prices amounted to 11.4 million lei. It will be allocated to 780 applicants.
