The State Tax Service reminds that 30 models of cash register equipment (CRE) expire on June 30 , 2026. The obsolete devices were excluded from the Unified Register of cash registers last year by the decision of the Interdepartmental Commission on cash register equipment.

Since there is not much time left before the deadline, the State Tax Service recommends to prepare for the innovation in advance to ensure compliance of the company’s subsequent activities with the requirements of the legislation by selecting the appropriate equipment depending on the area of activity.

The replacement of KKO is carried out in compliance with the requirements for the documentation and storage of fiscal memory. According to the regulations for the operation of the KKO, users are required to store the memory and/or SD-cards for six years.

In addition, the equipment is only replaced by those technical support centers and exclusive distributors of CKOs that possess the appropriate certificate of registration.

Before the fiscal memory and/or built-in SD-card is replaced due to its filling or damage, the data must be read and printed out on paper or electronic media, which is kept by the user of KKO.
