The e-Governance Agency informed that it is possible to request information from the Register of pledge of movable property online through the public services portal servicii.gov.md or in the EVO application (from the “Services” module). There is no need for an electronic signature for this purpose.
The digitalization of the service ensures quick access to data and verification of the legality of contracts. The register of pledge of movable property is the only official source of information on such types of pledge as vehicles, agricultural machinery, equipment, shares, pets, industrial and agricultural products, financial leasing and other guarantees.
This service is free of charge for authorized administrators and public legal institutions, while for administrators of companies, lawyers, natural persons and persons authorized by power of attorney or mandate, the cost of the service is 9 lei for each registration.
If there are no mortgaged movable property in the name of the applicant, the certificate of absence of entries in the register is issued free of charge.
The service was digitized by the e-Governance Agency within the project “Modernization of Public Services” (MGSP), with the support of the Government of RM and the World Bank Group, at the request of the Agency for Digitalization of Justice and Judicial Administration of the Ministry of Justice.
Recently, the Government approved a new concept of the system “Registry of pledge of movable property”, which will be modernized and updated. Online access to this system replaces paper documents, increasing transparency and security of data on pledged movable property.
