As experts of the Agrocereale Association noted earlier, winter rape sowing for the harvest-2025 has reached 100 thousand hectares. The reports of district agricultural departments provide different information – 61 thousand hectares (however, the association believes that this information is not complete).
Anyway, the share of oilseeds in the structure of field crops for the current year’s harvest in the country is not less than 30%. This is with agronomic norm not more than 20%.
At the same time, the area under cereals and leguminous crops has decreased. In particular, according to the association’s calculations, wheat crops decreased to 279 thousand hectares (from 364 thousand hectares in 2025). Despite the fact that grain ear crops are a necessary and useful position in crop rotations, many agricultural producers come to the conclusion that their production is losing its economic attractiveness. This is especially true for feed wheat.
