This was stated by the head of the State Service for food safety and consumer protection Sergiy Tkachuk, reports RBC-Ukraine.
“Today with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People’s Republic of China in Ukraine Mr. Ma Shenkun signed an international agreement, which officially opens the export of Ukrainian wheat flour to the PRC,” – wrote the head of the Ukrainian Department on his page on Facebook.
The approved agreement provides for a protocol of inspection, phytosanitary and sanitary requirements for wheat flour. The protocol will be supervised by the Ukrainian Service for Food Safety and Consumer Protection, and by the General Customs Administration on the part of China.
Ukraine supplies cereal crops and their processed products to many countries of the world. Moreover, a few years ago, Ukraine ranked second in the rating of world grain exporters, leaving out only the USA.
