    The project to launch the Russian-language channel Moldova 3 on the basis of the state-owned company Teleradio-Moldova (TRM) has made a lot of noise. Beyond the political component, an important question remained: with what money will it be launched?

    In 2024, the total value of agricultural products produced in Moldova amounted to about 41.37 billion lei. This is 1% less as compared to 2023, and the decline with respect to 2021 is about 14.5%. Taking into account the inflation rate and fluctuations in prices for vegetable and animal products, the conclusion is obvious – in real terms, the value of agricultural products has decreased and the sector is stagnating.
