
The Moldovan athletes have two silver and 12 bronze medals. Silver medalists were Nikita Negruta (up to 60 kg), who took part in the competition among athletes under 19 years old, and Nicolai Burduja (up to 92 kg), who took part in the youth championship.
The bronze medal winners were Ion Hargel (up to 48 kg), Damian Grisman (up to 51 kg), Daniel Guranda (up to 67 kg), Nikita Lysyi (up to 75 kg) and Vasile Duminica (up to 92 kg). Mihai Porumbak (up to 48 kg), Katelyn Turku (up to 51 kg), Vladislav Vaskovski (up to 63.5 kg), Janusz Karavan (up to 67 kg), Stefan Wozniakovski (up to 71 kg) and Mirab Drumya (up to 92 kg) climbed to the third step of the podium.
More than 250 athletes from 25 countries took part in the European U-19 and U-23 Championships. The Moldovan youth and junior national teams were represented by 25 boxers from Chisinau, Balti, Tiraspol, Grimencauti (Briceni district), Dubasari, Cahul and Hincesti.
