“Gorynich” to fight the energy crisis

The Tiraspol plant JSC "Electromash" has mastered the production of solid fuel boilers for private residences. At the beginning of May, the first such domestic boiler went on sale. The name of the boiler is original - "Gorynych". Its capacity is 12 kW, which is enough to heat 120 square meters of space in the house.

Boilers use solid fuel – wood, coal, briquettes – to generate heat and heat water. They can be used to heat both residential houses and industrial or social facilities. This is a significant alternative in conditions of natural gas shortage.

For domestic consumers living in the private residential sector, “Electromash” has prepared for production a line of 5 solid fuel boilers of small capacity, from 8 to 25 kW. They will be freely available for sale, soon they will be available for purchase in the company store.

The creators of “Gorynych” are sure that their mini-boilers are more reliable than their analogs, their period of use is not less than 10 years. Damage to home boilers in the process of operation is excluded, they are made of special steel. Boilers should be refueled once every 8-10 hours.

Cutting of steel sheets is made by laser on a machine with CNC (numerical program control). The design documentation and CNC program were developed by factory engineers.

Also for private houses solid fuel domestic boilers with capacity from 5 to 40 kW with enlarged furnace chamber are being launched now. Such boilers can be refueled once every 12-20 hours.

A little earlier the production of solid fuel industrial boilers (200 kW capacity) was established. “Electromash” is already manufacturing them. Powerful boilers are intended for schools, kindergartens, hospitals and clinics, as well as enterprises. They are distributed throughout the Transnistrian region. Several industrial boilers have already been sent to the place of operation.

It should be emphasized: “Electromash” has not produced such products as industrial and household boilers before. Nevertheless, the production was set up in the shortest possible time: from the moment of receiving the assignment to the production of the first prototype took only about a month. As experts say, the crisis drove the process.

Everyone remembers that on January 1, 2025, the Ukrainian transit of natural gas to the Transnistrian region was suspended. Social facilities and residential sector were left without heating. In the crisis situation, it was necessary to find a partial alternative to natural gas to provide heating and hot water. At the same time, the authorities of the unrecognized TMR instructed the factory “Electromash” to start producing solid fuel boilers of various capacities for social and industrial facilities, as well as for the needs of the population. Additional funds were allocated for this purpose by the Tiraspol authorities.

According to Vladimir Trandasir, the director of JSC “Electromash”, in January the plant developed all the necessary project documentation, in February-March the first samples of boilers were produced, which were sent to the local certification bodies to obtain the necessary authorizations. It should be emphasized that not only the production of boilers is established, it will be possible to provide warranty and post-warranty service. Boilers for organizations will be produced in the quantity specified in the state order.

Back in December 2024, an economic state of emergency was introduced in the unrecognized DMR. Then the terms were extended five times for 30 days. The last such decision was made on April 30 – to extend it until June 8, 2025. The reason is the persisting economic emergency due to the reduction of natural gas supplies.

It should be recalled that since February 14, 2025, Transnistria started to receive gas from a European trader, the Hungarian company MET Gas and Energy Marketing. A short-term agreement was reached with this company. Technically, it became possible to carry out deliveries with the participation of gas transportation system operators from the European Union, Ukraine, Moldova and with the support of the EU. The Hungarian company’s actions were paid for, as they say, with money of Russian origin, through an intermediary company registered in Dubai.

Deliveries from the Hungarian MET Gas and Energy Marketing were supposed to go to Transnistria until February 28, but in reality lasted until the end of March.

In the first days of May, it became known that the National Energy Regulatory Agency (ANRE) issued a license to the Hungarian company MET Gas and Energy Marketing for the right to operate on the natural gas market in Moldova.
