The investment instrument is gaining popularity among the population, despite the low yield compared to the financial market volumes. The October SS issue was fully redeemed – the subscription attracted investments totaling 28,514,800 lei, which is almost twice as much as in the previous month.
During the ten days of subscription 587 transactions were made by 468 investors, which was a record for the whole period of attracting public funds. In the structure of investments, most of the subscriptions were for state bonds with a circulation term of 2 years (interest rate of 6.80%), which attracted investments totaling 21,704,500 lei within 321 transactions (288 investors).
At the same time, for bonds with a maturity of 3 years (interest rate 7,00%), 266 deals were concluded (232 investors), for a total amount of 6 810 300 lei. Citizens did not show special interest in long securities. As in the November round, which was slightly higher in terms of yield, but the value of the four-year instrument did not arouse the interest of many people.
The results for the middle of the November subscription – 12 million lei and 300 deals. The 3-year bonds were placed, with an annual interest rate of 7.15% for a total amount of 9,154,100 lei through 201 transactions. Bonds for 4 years, with an annual interest rate of 7.30%, for a total of 2,928,000 lei went through 99 deals into the hands of 88 investors. The last monthly subscription round for citizens this year was announced for the period of December 1-10.
