
The support is provided from the state budget under the Program for Increasing Competitiveness of Local Producers and their Integration into Value Chains. It is financed by the Government of Moldova and the World Bank Group through ODA and the World Bank Competitiveness Project Implementation Unit.
The support will be used to modernize business processes and equipment of enterprises. And will attract additional investments in the economy in the amount of 96 million lei.
To date, the beneficiary companies already employ about 1,200 people, and as a result of project implementation, at least another 420 new jobs will be created.
The government provided 24 million lei from the budget, which were handed over to representatives of 59 companies. In addition, another 22 companies received grants totaling 19 million lei from the WB.
ODA Director Vadim Codreanu said that the government and development partners plan to support a total of 1,000 Moldovan companies in 2026.
In 2025, 810 projects worth 346.4 million lei were approved for financing through the instruments of free financial support. The volume of investments attracted in the economy amounted to 653.3 million lei.
