Attending the event was MAIA Agriculture and Food Minister Ludmila Catlabuga, who assured the participants that the Moldovan ministries and institutions are in constant communication with the Ukrainian authorities, monitoring its needs and possibilities.
“In Moldova’s agro-food sector, as well as in the state development program we have elaborated, the priority is the segment of processing, industrialization and storage,” MAIA press service quoted the minister as saying. – The transition from the production of raw materials to the production of value-added products is the goal we have set for ourselves. Moldova and Ukraine are two countries in the process of integration into the European Union, and we have a number of common commitments. Of course, we should focus on technological processes, innovation and progress in industrialization and processing of raw materials, as well as on partnerships in which we can develop”.
