
According to the State Statistics Service of Ukraine, in March, food eggs rose in price the most (by 7.7%) in the country. The prices of grain products, sunflower oil, fruit, bread, fish and fish products, beef, vegetables, soft drinks and lard rose by 4.8-0.8%. At the same time, prices for sugar, pasta, rice, pork, poultry meat and oil decreased by 1.0-0.1%.
In Moldova, as noted by Logos Press with reference to the NBS, in March, compared to the data for February 2026, the prices of vegetables and fruits rose the most – by 6.9% and 2.5%. While chicken eggs and sugar in the country’s consumer market fell in price by 3.6% and 0.4%, respectively.
