World’s largest economies in 2026 – infographic

According to the infographic based on IMF data (World Economic Outlook October 2025), the world economy will reach $123.6 trillion in 2026, with the top 5 countries accounting for 55% of GDP.

The U.S. will remain the leader ($31.8 trillion), followed by China ($20.7 trillion) and Germany ($5.3 trillion). India ($4.5 trillion) holds on to the fourth spot, which it would take over from Japan ($4.46 trillion) in 2025. And Russia ranks ninth ($2.509 trillion).

The UK, France, Italy, Italy and Canada are also in the top ten.

Kazakhstan will be in the top 50 for the first time, trailing the list of the 50 largest economies in 2026 with a GDP of about $320 billion.

Significant changes in the ranking concern Australia (14th place, $1.95 trillion), which displaces South Korea (15th place, $1.94 trillion).

And also – Bangladesh (33rd place, $519 billion), which bypasses Vietnam, thanks to economic growth of 4.9%.

Egypt rises to 43rd place, and Nigeria enters the top 50 at 48th position.
