
As noted in the Ministry’s press release, the projects cover several thematic areas, including: promotion of democracy and European integration; indigenous culture, historical memory; areas of social interest: inclusion, tolerance and social cohesion; information and media literacy, combating propaganda and misinformation, including in minority languages.
Subsequently, the applications will be reviewed by the Foundation’s Expert Council in accordance with the established procedure, and the final results of the competition will be published on April 3 after the selection process is completed.
The total budget allocated for the contest of projects within the Media Subsidization Fund for 2026 is 20 million lei.
