Of the 32.7 thousand registered vacancies, 12.9 thousand are vacant jobs in the public sector of the economy. Institutions of state administration and defense, social insurance lack 8.1 thousand workers, health care and social assistance systems – 4.7 thousand, education – 3.8 thousand workers.

These data are given by the National Bureau of Statistics, noting the persistent trend of staff shortage and the unchanged level of declared need for labor force, the shortage of which accounts for about 5% of the total number of jobs in the economy.

The most significant increase in demand and, accordingly, the level of vacancies in the second quarter is registered at logistics companies – transport and warehouse companies lack about 4 thousand specialists. Agriculture has traditionally demonstrated the growth in demand for labor force.

And the construction industry, on the contrary, does not experience such a deficit in the summer season – the number of vacancies has decreased there. Trade, mining industry, sphere of household services and real estate transactions are also experiencing the least staff hunger.
