
According to the data of the Public Property Agency, only 36,019.11 thousand lei came from privatization. Most of the revenues – 447,203.70 thousand lei – came from deductions from the net profit of state enterprises and dividends on the state’s share in joint-stock companies. Other sources of income were the lease of agricultural land – 13,875.93 thousand lei and the lease/superficies of state-owned land related to privately owned real estate – 2,250.69 thousand lei.
According to generalized data from the Register of State Property, as of January 1, 2025, the total value of state property amounted to 167,077.34 million lei. The value of the property managed by central public authorities amounted to 80,704.99 million lei, while that managed by administrative-territorial units – 86,372.34 million lei. The growth of the property managed by central public authorities amounted to 5,838.71 million lei (7.79%), while the growth of the property managed by local authorities amounted to 6,715.64 million lei (8.43%).
Moldova’s annual balance of state property increased by 12,554.35 million lei in 2024 compared to the previous year. The growth rate amounted to 8.12%.
