“Rescuers eliminated the consequences of Russian terror only by morning, trying to save from the fire such a significant place for Odessa residents and every tourist,” – noted in the State Emergency Service.
Odessa authorities said that another Russian drone attack on Odessa had damaged civilian infrastructure and UNESCO World Heritage sites.
According to the head of the regional military administration, Oleh Kiper, architectural monuments in the historical center of Odessa have been damaged, while information on casualties is being clarified.
“Despite the active work of air defense forces, there is damage to civilian infrastructure. A number of fires have broken out in the city. At the moment there are reports about the fire of two floors in a residential multi-storey building, the roof of a two-storey building, shopping pavilions and a gas station,” – said Kiper.
