
In particular, imported products of animal origin must come from authorized states or regions, from officially approved enterprises, and be accompanied by documents of compliance with the requirements of traceability, hygiene, residues and contaminants.
The problem is very relevant in the context of the complex epizootic situation in neighboring countries, in particular, in connection with the focal spread of African swine fever and foot-and-mouth disease.
The implementation of the decision will be ensured by the National Agency for Food Safety, which will also approve the lists of states or regions from which the import of relevant animals and goods into Moldova will be allowed.
