Moldova and Ukraine agree on new rules for bus services

This was one of the decisions of the meeting of the mixed commission of the Ministry of Infrastructure and Regional Development of RM and the Ministry of Development of Communities and Territories of Ukraine on road transportation.

Following the meeting, the parties also agreed that traffic schedules for the new routes Moldova and Ukraine will coordinate jointly in order to avoid carriers submitting different schedules to different countries. Open regular routes should be fully implemented.

In addition, it was agreed that starting from October 2025, Ukraine will inform the Moldovan side on a monthly basis about the fulfillment of routes by Moldovan carriers according to data from the “єCerga” system. Routes that are not fulfilled will be closed.

Already during the verification of international routes, Ukraine has identified seven destinations that have Ukrainian permits but are not confirmed by the Moldovan side. Carriers must provide the Ukrainian Ministry of Development with scanned copies of the original Moldovan permits by August 27, otherwise the routes will be closed.
