Kindergarten No. 8 “Andriyes” in Ceadir-Lunga was renovated within the project “EU4Moldova Resilient: Secure State, Strong Communities”, financed by the European Union and implemented by the PL Solidarity Fund in Moldova.

The total budget of the works amounted to about 6 million lei, of which about 4 million were allocated by the EU.

The works included thermal insulation of the building, modernization of the internal heating system and installation of 30 kW photovoltaic panels.

In addition, the food warehouse was renovated and the area around the kindergarten was completely modernized.

“Undoubtedly, this is the most large-scale repair work ever carried out in this institution. We are talking about the biggest kindergarten in ATU Gagauzia, occupying a large territory and including several buildings. Now, thanks to our external partners, especially the European Union, we can say that we offer our children a warm, safe and welcoming place,” said Mihail Stamov, Deputy Mayor of Ceadir-Lunga.
