The atmosphere was characterized by energy, curiosity and a desire to expand. Participants particularly appreciated the relevance of the topics raised, from the integration of artificial intelligence into e-commerce operations, targeting and communication strategies to cross-border expansion.
Andrei Radu, CEO and founder of GPeC: “The e-commerce market in Moldova has significant potential and will grow rapidly. Any local business that does not yet have an online presence needs to develop one, and the biggest opportunity remains cross-border sales.”
He urged entrepreneurs to believe in their products, not to be afraid of the complexities of e-commerce and to go beyond simply launching a website: “The most important thing? Take action, take action, take action!”.
A young market, but with a noticeable growth momentum
FAN Courier and iute Moldova, the main partners of the event, presented complementary perspectives on the infrastructure for e-commerce growth. Cornel Morkov, Commercial Director of FAN Courier, emphasized the competitive advantage of the Moldovan market: its late start allowed the introduction of the latest technologies and encouraged local companies to list on international marketplaces.

Figures provided by Sergiu Sobuleac, CEO of iute Moldova, completed the picture: “E-commerce sales are almost doubling year after year. Thanks to iute Moldova’s integrated BNPL solution, the average basket value increases by 30-60% and the conversion rate at the moment of purchase decision by 20-40%, which proves that partnership in the field of modern payment solutions is one of the most direct gas pedals of online commerce growth.”

From digital strategies to market insights
The event program covered the entire e-commerce ecosystem, including topics such as the use of artificial intelligence agents in operations, content optimization for conversions, generative engine optimization (GEO), marketing strategies for inventory rotation and key legal issues for the European market.
Specialized panels presented case studies of local brands selling on the international market, as well as information on the evolution of the market in Moldova and Romania, attended by representatives of the entrepreneurial, legal and association sectors.
The day ended with a session on the importance of the human factor in the AI era, a reminder that technology scales, but business relationships remain, at their core, human.
