The National Energy Regulatory Agency (ANRE) has set the prices for AI-95 gasoline at 23.97 lei per liter for today, March 4 (+0.13 lei against March 3). For diesel fuel – 21.21 lei (+0.34 lei against yesterday).
However, these prices should not be directly linked to the US-Israeli war against Iran: prices have been rising for about a month already.
According to the schedule published on the NRATI website, the gradual increase began at least on February 17. At that time, the price of AI-95 was 23.34 lei, while the price of diesel fuel – 20.16 lei.
And every day the prices increased little by little. That is, in less than a month, the price of diesel fuel increased by more than one leu.
Another thing is that the aggravation of the situation on the world oil market due to the hostilities and the blockade of the Strait of Hormuz may lead to a sharp increase.
So it is better to fill up a full tank today, it will not be cheaper for sure.
