According to a press release from the MAIA Ministry of Agriculture and Food, the funding was provided through two support measures.
The main part of the funds, 62.11 million lei, was provided in the form of post-investment payments for 150 farmer applications. The mentioned amount was distributed as follows:
– 19.90 million lei – for the development of livestock farms;
– 15,08 million lei – compensations in the process of implementation of soil cultivation technologies;
– 8,84 million lei – compensations in connection with the creation or modernization of the infrastructure of production, processing and trade in the crop sector;
– 5.29 million lei – development of secondary infrastructure of agricultural lands;
– 4.25 million lei – for irrigation systems and equipment.
Additionally, eight applications related to the modernization of livestock farms were financed within the advance payment mechanism. About 0.9 million lei was allocated for these purposes.
