This was reported today. Investing.com reports that two tankers with liquefied gas have successfully passed the Strait of Hormuz and are heading to India. The passage of the vessels, which were granted safe passage, was made possible after an agreement between New Delhi and Tehran. Although Iranian officials and the Indian Ministry of External Affairs have not officially confirmed such an agreement.

European countries have also started talks with the Iranian side, seeking an agreement that would ensure safe passage of their ships through the Strait of Hormuz and resume energy supplies from the Persian Gulf. But they have so far failed to reach a similar agreement.

According to the Financial Times, European capitals have begun preliminary consultations to resume oil and gas exports while avoiding an escalation of the conflict. The publication reports from sources with knowledge of the situation that France is the most active in the talks. Italy has also tried to discuss the issue with Iran. However, there is no guarantee that the talks will be successful or that Iran is willing to make concessions.
