
The meeting brought together experts, decision-makers, representatives of the European Commission and the scientific community from across Europe and other regions of the world, the ANCD said in a news release. The aim of the meeting was to facilitate the exchange of information between partners, ensure coordination of activities within the EUP OHAMR consortium and strengthen international cooperation in the fight against antimicrobial resistance.
The meeting covered aspects of partnership governance through presentations by the Scientific Advisory Board, Strategic Board, Ethics Committee and Stakeholder Forum. Communication, funding and partner country involvement were also discussed. Discussions focused on the progress of the work packages, planning of activities for the second year of the project, and management and coordination aspects.
