
The project, which is in the process of completing a feasibility study, envisages the creation of a modern logistics complex with an infrastructure adapted to the requirements of freight transportation: multiple ramps, energy autonomy, storage facilities, scales, scanners and cold rooms.
All these facilities will be owned and managed by the state.
Land preparation work is expected to start by the end of this year, with direct construction next year.
The purpose of this relocation is to relieve the city’s truck traffic and provide easy access for economic operators, explained Alexandru Jakub.
