The information on the website of the Ministry of Finance notes that these funds were injected into the state budget during the four subscription sessions. It should be recalled that the eVMS.md platform was launched in August last year, and since then it has shown a constant growth in the number of participants.
During the last session in April 2025, the total investments amounted to 74.1 million lei. They were realized through 644 transactions carried out by 500 individual investors. This shows a broad and diversified participation of citizens in collective investment.
The funds are used as financing from the state for large investment projects, as well as for covering the budget deficit.
A week ago, the Ministry of Finance opened a new subscription period. It will run from May 19 to May 28, 2025. The range of opportunities for individual investments has been expanded, citizens are offered two types of GS: 2-year bonds with the rate of 7.6% per year, as well as new securities with a 3-year maturity at the rate of 7.8% per year.
The interest is fixed for the whole circulation period of the bonds and is paid semi-annually, directly to the investor’s bank account, guaranteeing a stable and predictable income.
