The event took place on April 6 and gathered representatives of the public sector, business environment and business associations. The meeting participants made their proposals on optimizing the relevant procedures to reduce risks and negative consequences for business.

At the meeting, Deputy Prime Minister for European Integration Cristina Gerasimov informed about the current stage of Moldova’s accession to the European Union. She presented the latest developments within the technical dialogue on the negotiation chapters, the strategic directions that will determine the country’s European path in the coming period and the possibilities to involve the business environment in the country’s preparations for EU accession.

Business representatives requested the organization of separate sectoral meetings to analyze in depth the specifics of each area and to ensure adequate technical dialogue on issues of public interest.

The Economic Council emphasized its commitment to promoting an effective public-private dialogue focused on solutions and results.
