
According to the Ministry of Finance, the consolidated revenues of the public budget at the end of March amounted to 36,272.1 million lei. The revenue component of the state budget is the biggest one within it, it was implemented in the amount of 24,123.1 million lei, of which 21.112 billion lei – taxes and fees. The grant component of the state budget revenues at the end of three months amounts to about 2 billion lei (1.768 billion lei) and is comparable to other types of incomes.
Local budgets collected slightly more than 3 billion lei in revenues, the social insurance budget realized 6.6 billion lei in revenues, medical funds – 2.55 billion lei.
The consolidated public budget expenditures amounted to 36,585.1 million lei. The state budget expenditures from the beginning of the year were small – 11.494 billion lei – and were generously distributed among the “partners”. Local budgets remained the most subsidized – with about 3 billion lei of collected revenue, the expenditure part increased almost three times – up to 8.581 billion lei.
The funds of insurance medicine also required additional injections – up to 4.129 billion lei. The social insurance budget is traditionally the most expensive. About 12.4 billion lei was spent on the fulfillment of the state’s social guarantees.
