The exhibition is organized by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry and opens the annual exhibition program in Moldova.
Delegations and companies from two neighboring countries, Moldova’s strategic trade partners, Romania and Ukraine, are participating in the exposition. In addition, delegations from Lithuania and Serbia are taking part in the exhibition, as well as in the business forum, which takes place today, February 12. The event includes bilateral B2B meetings to establish contacts and establish mutually beneficial cooperation.
Traditionally, the exhibition presents goods produced in our country. It brings together local entrepreneurs from different economic sectors. In the central pavilion of Moldexpo there are food and beverage producers. There are also stands of several districts of the Republic.
The second pavilion is dedicated to the companies of the industrial sector – producers of furniture, textiles and consumer goods. In addition, agricultural producers and small wineries, as well as companies from the wood and metalworking sector present their products at the center.
The products are valued on both banks of the Prut
Opening the exhibition, CCI President Sergiu Harea emphasized its role in establishing economic ties and attracting investments. Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Economic Development and Digitalization Eugeniu Osmochescu urged the visitors to buy local products.
In response, the vice-president of the Romanian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the head of the Iasi Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Mr. Paul Butnariu, said that the products made in Moldova are highly appreciated on the other side of the Prut.
It is expected that this year’s event will be attended by at least 60 thousand people. Besides, for the first time, the exhibition will be connected to the global platform Enterprise Europe Network, which will allow organizing international B2B meetings and will provide access to partners from more than 60 countries.
