According to the agency’s data, last week, advance payments amounting to 12.08 million lei were approved for payment for 13 investment projects in livestock farms. This type of state support allows beneficiaries to start or continue the modernization of animal farms by purchasing equipment, machinery or other investments in business development.
Also, 12.32 million lei were earmarked to compensate insurance premiums in agriculture (for last year’s contracts). Through this mechanism, the state supports farmers who insure their crops or investments, reducing the consequences of possible losses caused by climatic phenomena or other risks.
