As Igor Tagadiuk noted for Logos Press, in the previous few years, the cooperative has pursued a rather active policy of building up its material and technical base. In particular, extensive warehouses were built to store agricultural products and inputs for agricultural production, and lines for inhibitor treatment and nitrogen fertilizer packaging were installed.
In the current, extremely difficult season from an economic point of view, the cooperative will focus on ensuring the production and commercial interests of its members. However, at the end of the year, it will conduct a financial and economic assessment of the efficiency of a new investment project – a factory for seed calibration and dressing.
This year CÎ Agrostoc celebrates 25 years since its foundation – it is the oldest and largest entrepreneurial cooperative in the Republic of Moldova. At present, it unites 145 agricultural farms of different types, cultivating about 130 thousand hectares of agricultural land.
