
The responsible central authorities, the Environmental Inspectorate and the police have been notified in this regard, the capital’s general mayor, Ion Ceban, said via his Telegram channel. According to him, the enterprises of S.A. “Apă-Canal Chișinău”, “Spații Verzi” and the police are already taking measures.
At the same time, specialists from the capital’s municipal services continue to monitor and take samples every hour, publishing the data obtained.
“I once again call on the government to publicize the results of the water samples it has taken, as transparency is crucial,” he added. – At the same time, deeply concerned about the information received that the tanks of S.A. “Apă-Canal Bălți” contained 500 tons of water that was not distributed to the population during the first days of the water supply shutdown. During this period, people had to make do with minimal supplies, including no water for basic needs.
