The National Employment Agency believes that this new measure will help in the fight against unemployment. The vouchers will be available to persons registered as unemployed in the territorial subdivisions of the agency who have no profession or their profession is not in demand on the local labor market. This will increase the chances of the unemployed to find a job.
In addition, the agency announces the launch of a digitized platform “voucher for vocational training of the unemployed”. Its main objective is to facilitate access to education and professional development by providing people seeking employment with a wide range of courses. Through this platform, unemployed people choose the courses they need from certified vocational training providers.
Courses are mainly offered in areas where there is a high demand for workers. Emphasis is placed on the development of practical skills necessary for integration into the labor market. At the same time, the trainees are granted a monthly stipend equal to 35% of the average wage in the economy for the previous year, which was fixed at 4933.84 lei. It will be paid proportionally to the frequency of attendance. In addition, they will receive relevant training certificates.
This year, the agency signed contracts with 12 providers of vocational training services in 37 professions.
