Trump said his administration has submitted plans for the arch to the Commission on Fine Arts – a group that includes Trump allies – which will review the proposal next week.
According to the U.S. leader, Trump’s Arch will be “the greatest and most beautiful Triumphal Arch in the entire world.”
“It will be a wonderful addition to the Washington DC area that all Americans will be able to enjoy for decades to come!” the American president wrote.
BBC notesthat if the project is approved, the monument will be taller than the U.S. Capitol building and the Lincoln Memorial.
