“It will be over soon,” he said at a news conference in Doral, Florida, commenting on the progress of the military campaign against Iran. The American president did not elaborate on the exact timeline for the end of the operation, noting only that it would not be suspended this week. “No, but soon,” he added. When asked if he meant the coming days, he answered in the affirmative: “I think so.”
At the same time, he warned that the US would be prepared to use military force against Iran again if the need arose. “If it starts again, they will be hit even harder,” Trump said.
Around the same time, a post in his name appeared on Trump’s Truth Social media page confirming the above statements.
“If Iran takes any action that stops the flow of oil in the Strait of Hormuz, the United States of America will hit it twenty times harder than it has so far. In addition, we will destroy easy targets that will make it virtually impossible to rebuild Iran as a nation – death, fire and fury will descend upon it. But I hope and pray that this does not happen! This is a gift from the United States of America to China and all those countries that actively use the Strait of Hormuz. I hope this gesture will be greatly appreciated,” Donald Trump wrote.
