According to the data of the Customs Service of the Republic of Moldova, in the first three months of the current year, goods worth 36.7 billion lei were sent abroad.
Of these, cable products worth 3.2 billion lei, sunflower seeds worth 3.024 billion lei and wine worth 1.1 billion lei.
According to the results of 2024, the most significant share in the nomenclature of exports from the Republic of Moldova is accounted for machinery and electrical appliances – 16%. Next in descending order are vegetables and fruits (12%), seeds and oilseeds (10.2%), cereals (9.1%), clothing and accessories (7.5%), alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages (6.8%), as well as furniture and petroleum products – 3.8% each.
