The event was organized ahead of the Startup Moldova Summit 2026 forum, which will be held on April 22 in Chisinau and will gather 2000 participants, more than 100 international speakers and investors.
The format of the meeting was unconventional: each Influencer received fictitious banknotes worth $300,000 and the task to identify the startup that most convinced him with the clarity of its idea and its impact on the community. The participants had two hours for direct conversations, without formal presentations or slides.
The event concluded with a final session in which the startups each had 60 seconds to convince the audience to invest the remaining funds in their idea. The three startups that attracted the most fictitious investments from Influencers are:
– Clon, a startup that aims to clone employees and automate tasks using artificial intelligence.
– Magic Wish – a platform dedicated to organizing and fulfilling personal wishes, turning every dream into a real experience.
– Respiro – a platform that connects people in need of support with experienced psychologists and psychotherapists through an accessible online platform.
There are currently more than 90 active tech startups in Moldova, and the ecosystem is actively growing, with the number increasing by more than 50% in the last year.
The total number of startups per million inhabitants is estimated to be around 77, and they have attracted investments worth €13.4 million in 2025.
