
According to the National Bureau of Statistics, about 33.8 thousand vacancies were registered in all budgetary institutions as of the end of Q3 2025, which exceeds the data of the second quarter by 3.5% (or 1.1 thousand). This is a total of about 5% to the total number of jobs.
Of the total number of vacancies, 3.2 thousand, or about 39.1%, were recorded in the public sector. The highest number of vacancies recorded such activities as: “public administration and defense; compulsory social insurance” – 8.2 thousand jobs; “health care and social assistance” – 4.6 thousand; “education” – 4.0 thousand; “transportation and storage” – 3.4 thousand; and “transportation and storage” – 3.4 thousand.
In the 3rd quarter, the service and trade spheres, maintenance and repair of motor vehicles turned out to be the most provided with personnel. Only 2% of vacancies from the total number of vacancies in these types of activities are registered there. Construction industry, communication and information declare vacancy rates slightly higher – 2.8% and 2.9% respectively.
According to statistics, the shortage of specialists in agriculture and processing industry looks more or less favorable – the vacancy rate is about 3%. And even in the education system there is not such a shortage of teachers: the same as in the energy sector – 4% of all jobs remain unoccupied.
