At the same time, 161.58 million lei were already allocated for the region this year. With these funds, by the end of 2025, at least four infrastructure projects are to be completed in the south, which will directly contribute to improving access to public services.

One of the projects is the “Construction of the main water pipeline Serata Noue – Sarateni”. The main aqueduct network is 90% constructed, which is 49.15 km out of the planned 54.6 km. 2 water towers have been installed in the towns of Selište and Troyan.

29 million lei have been allocated for this purpose in 2025. The total cost of construction works is 53.94 million lei, of which 89.6% is covered by FNDRL funds, and 10.4% is the contribution of the Leova district council and the beneficiary LPA I.

The completion of the project will significantly improve the water supply infrastructure of Leova district: over 10 thousand citizens from 14 settlements will have access to quality drinking water.
