The online resource of the State Register of Inspections will be updated

The money will be allocated under the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Competitiveness Project funded by the World Bank.

The new online resource will improve the analysis of information from the register, petitions and other available sources to establish the legality of actions of control authorities in case of complaints from persons subject to inspection. It will provide more opportunities to monitor the effectiveness of these actions, as well as to protect trade secrets and other legally protected information.

In general, the new information system will reduce pressure on business and increase the transparency of control, hope the authors of the project, which was prepared by specialists of the State Chancellery.

The explanatory note to the project notes that the functionality of the current platform is not fully utilized. And the technologies used in it are outdated. Some of them are more than 10 years old.

The State Chancellery together with control bodies and the Agency for Electronic Governance will be involved in the project. During this time, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Agency of State Services and the State Chancellery will ensure the compatibility of their information systems. The State Tax Service and the Customs Service will ensure interoperability of their information systems with the state register for data exchange and registration of information on planning and conducting inspections.

At the same time, the government will prepare a sub-law framework – it will approve the Regulation on the Procedure for Maintaining the State Register of Inspections, as well as amend the relevant legislative acts.
