It has a total of 28 rides, and three of them have made history, Lifehaker says. The main one is Falcons Flight, which is positioned as the tallest, longest and fastest roller coaster in the world. The ride reaches a maximum speed of 250 kilometers per hour. Another attraction, Iron Rattler, has the status of the tallest inclined roller coaster, and Spitfire set a record for the highest flip height among roller coasters.

The area of the complex is 32 hectares

Six Flags Qiddiya City is located near Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia, and is part of a strategy to turn much of the desert area around the city into a major tourist and entertainment center. A cyber sports arena, stadium and water park are also due to be added to the area in the future.

The new park is the first Six Flags facility to be built outside of North America. Its construction took about four years. The area of the complex is about 32 hectares, which accommodates rides, restaurants and shopping areas.

The opening of Six Flags Qiddiya City fits into the Saudi authorities’ broader commitment to tourism and entertainment.

Amid a freeze on construction of the world’s largest skyscraper, the project was a rare positive signal for a series of Saudi megaprojects. Adult tickets to the park start at 325 Saudi riyals (≈1467 MDL).
