
The State Property Agency analyzed the economic activity of five state-owned enterprises and seven state-owned joint-stock companies. According to the statistics, last year their turnover decreased by 143.6 million lei, to 31.4 billion lei. The profit of the 12 entities, in turn, increased by more than 832.1 million lei, from 770.3 million lei in 2023 to 1.6 billion lei in 2024.
The SE “Aeroportul Internațional Chișinău”, which returned to state ownership in March 2023, made a profit of 336 million lei. And “Poșta Moldovei” experienced an impressive evolution: from a profit of 23 million to almost 66 million lei. The air traffic navigation SE MOLDATSA also showed an excellent result, from 22.1 million to 29.5 million lei.
However, the best dynamics was recorded in the case of Energocom SA, which, having reported losses of more than 127 million lei in 2023, gained a profit of about 858.1 million lei in 2024. Another company that has been consistently profitable is Loteria Națională a Moldovei, with a profit of about 276.8 million lei.
Another company that showed growth was JSC “Moldtelecom”, which recorded a profit of almost 159.8 million lei. The fully state-owned joint stock company RED Nord increased its profit from 76.9 million to almost 146.6 million lei.
It should be remembered that the development of companies on the strictly regulated electricity market depends to a certain extent on tariff deviations fixed in accordance with the tariffs set by ANRE.
Speaking about the evolution of companies operating on more competitive markets, it is worth mentioning the Chisinau bakery “Franzeluța”, whose profit increased from 20.4 million to 44.2 million lei.
The profit of the 12 companies increased by 832 million lei last year, while their contributions to the state budget, due to be paid by August 30, will reach 500 million lei. This is 109.1 million lei more than a year ago, when 390.9 million lei were transferred.
The biggest “sponsor” is Loteria Națională a Moldovei JSC, which will pay 138.3 million lei in dividends to the state treasury, 53.2 million lei more than in 2023. Aeroportul Internațional Chișinău will also pay significant dividends. They amount to 105.6 million lei, 104.3 million lei more than in 2023.
For its part, Rețele Electrice de Distribuire Nord will contribute 46.2 million lei to the budget, while Moldtelecom JSC will transfer 44.6 million lei, 26.1 million more than in the previous year. In general, the first seven joint-stock companies with state capital should transfer 237.1 million lei to the budget, while five SOEs – 29.5 million lei.
