The employed are people from a wide range of professions and social niches, including agricultural workers, people with disabilities, the older generation, and returned labor migrants. All of them turned to the territorial employment services in search of a job, where services are provided free of charge to the unemployed, employed and those who simply want to change jobs.

“I am proud of my colleagues from the National Employment Agency and, especially, my colleagues from the territorial units, who work at the limit of their capacities to provide as many citizens as possible with decent jobs,” said Minister of Labor and Social Protection Alexei Buzu.

More information can be obtained by calling the NAZN toll-free call center at 0 8000 1000 or by visiting the portal www.angajat.md. Unemployed people registered with the territorial employment units (NAZN) can benefit from support as well as active services and measures to increase their chances of finding a job. Employers seeking employees can also use the agency’s services by advertising their current vacancies.

It should be reminded that in 2024, the Employment Agency helped 16,699 people to find a job, which means that about 25% of all unemployed people in Moldova were employed through the territorial units of employment services.
