Thus, Petrocub, Sheriff, Zimbru, Milsami, CSF Bălți and Dacia-Buiucani received the UEFA license, which allows them to participate not only in the Super League (national championship) but also in European tournaments in the 2025/26 season. Two other clubs, Spartanii-Sportul and Saksan, received the N license, which entitles them to play in the Super League.
Of the participants in Phase 1 of the current Super League season, only FC Florești did not receive the N license. The club was granted license B, allowing it to play only in Ligue 2 (third division).
In the transitional tournament, in which the 2 worst clubs from Superliga and the 4 best from Ligue 1 participate, after 6 rounds FC “Florești” is in last place and has lost almost all chances to qualify for the next Superliga season.
Clubs that do not agree with the FMF’s decision can appeal it to the Federation’s Appeals Body within five calendar days.
