
The Romanian minister congratulated his Moldovan counterpart on the results of Sunday’s parliamentary elections, which testify to Moldova’s determination to follow the European path, and assured him of his full commitment to the negotiations with the European Commission on financing within the SAFE programme, which will facilitate the transport links with Moldova.
The sides also discussed bilateral partnership and cooperation in the implementation of joint infrastructure projects, as well as the construction of the A7 and A8 freeways, which, once completed, will contribute to the economic and trade development of the two states and will directly benefit the citizens.
Vladimir Bolia highlighted the importance of Romania’s support in the negotiations with the European Commission on the SAFE program, a crucial instrument aimed at promoting Moldova’s ties with the European space. “We discussed infrastructure priorities that bring us even closer to the European Union. We are building for people,” Vladimir Bolia said.
The meeting emphasized the commitment of both states to develop sustainable projects that will strengthen the strategic partnership between Moldova and Romania and create better conditions for citizens through modern transport infrastructure.
